Well ignoring advice i didn't take my malaria medicine 3 months ago i was stuffed into a taxi and taken to the hospital i was given fluids and quinine and released the next day total cost $28.00 after reaching usa once again i am taken to hospital with malaria after many days and same treatment was released total cost of hospital $25000. And even though i have medicare i will be penniless for at least one month or more. There is somehow unreality in this. In intensive care at one point i called the nurse and 40 minutes latter they came. At least i am alive but if given a choice i would have accepted death.
