I have spent the last 8 month in my cyber cave here at the end of the world south Carolina. I recently visited Barnes and noble here in Charlotte. and i could not believe how big it was as big as a book store in Philadelphia. I was overwhelmed how could i possibly read 10000 books maybe 50000. i begin to believe this was the worlds biggest out house where the world has a bad case of word diahria. Having lived in musita in rural Uganda where a native book can hardly been found a oral society surviving in primitive existence. The point being the internet and cyber space exits even in rural Uganda. We had TV about 20 channels of digital tv better news coverage than satellite tv here. For 8 dollars a month. internet but bandwidth limited. And good people everywhere i went, bad also but i knew my neighbor of course being the only white person i was easy to spot. I could go nowhere where the the children would ignore me they all had to come shake my hand and say how are you and after shaking my hand run screaminng in delight. I miss Uganda and Kenya and when good fortune smiles on me once more i will return there to my wife Jane and our 6 children.
